As part of a joint initiative with Pubic Libraries New Zealand (PLNZ), and funded by the National Libraries Partnership Programme and the Department of Internal Affairs, Taituarā is pleased to present the second webinar in our Ask the Expert series. This series comprises eight topic areas. Each of them will look beyond the traditional role of libraries and consider how libraries can be key actors promoting well-being in our communities.

About this event

The Child and Youth Well-being Strategy will be presented by the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet from 2-3pm on 30 November 2021.

Taituarā has been working alongside the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC) and their Child and Youth Well-being work. Join us to hear about the important links between this and the activities in our public libraries and community services. This presentation will then be followed by a local government case study from Paula Eskett, the Library Manager at Waimakariri District Council.
