In October the Future for Local Government Panel released their report, Ārewa ake te Kaupapa, outlining five priority areas to consider as we transition to a reimagined future.
The Panel will be connecting with councils in March and April 2022 to seek views about the future for local governance and democracy. In preparation for this, and to support you to get 'match-fit' for the Panel’s engagement phase, we’ll be online in February and early March to stimulate and gather your thoughts on what a reimagined future looks like for you and your community.
These will be interactive workshops, including some strategic futures thinking, to help you identify the key shifts and necessary steps to improve community wellbeing.
