About this event

Are you involved in building or civil engineering contracts at your council? Learn about the new NZS3910:2023 NZS recently published by Standards New Zealand. Michael Weatherall from Simpson Grierson, and Campbell Moore from Hauraki District Council, who were both on the NZS 3910 Review Committee, will take us through the changes and how the updates will affect your council.

Michael and Campbell will not only summarise the key changes but also discuss the practical impact on local authorities as Principals and those who undertake (or engage others to undertake) the Engineer to Contract role (now ‘Independent Certifier’ and ‘Contract Administrator’)

New Zealand Standards have also introduced a process to licence NZS3910:2023 to allow ‘automated’ contracts to be developed. Find out more about how such automation may work and how it could benefit local authorities.

This is a ‘must attend’ session for anyone involved in NZS3910 contracts.

Who should attend?

Those involved in council tendering and procurement projects for property and civil engineering – asset managers, in-house lawyers, procurement managers, finance managers, those in economic development.

This webinar is open to elected members and employees of councils or council-controlled organisations, and employees of the three public sector audit providers. Other entry is by invitation only.
