The Government has announced the first tranche of funding for Three Waters work totalling $500 million dollars.
This first tranche is part of a $2 billion dollars of funding that is to be allocated to the according to population, relative deprivation and land area.
Applications for funding open online on 11 April 2022 and close on 30 September 2022. Funding from the first $500 million tranche will be available from 1 July 2022. The second tranche totaling $1.5 billion will be available from 1 July 2024.
