What does this event cover
The Government has signalled that the Climate Adaptation Bill will be introduced by the end of the year.
We anticipate that the time to prepare submissions will be limited. With the Natural Environment and Planning Bills coming out at or around the same time – it’s going to be busy!
In this webinar Simpson Grierson’s experts, Mike Wakefield and Kierra Parker, will help you cut through the complexity of the Bill. They will highlight what matters most for councils and provide strategic guidance for your submissions, drawing on recent experience with weather events in New Zealand.
You will come away with:
- Insights into key elements and implications of the Climate Adaptation Bill
- Identification of areas that you may wish to prioritise in your submissions
Who should join?
Planners, Legal Counsel, Senior Managers.
This webinar is exclusively for council employees. If you are not a council employee but are interested in attending, please let us know.
If you have any questions or need further information, please contact events@taituara.org.nz.
