What does this event cover
What can New Zealand local government learn from Pacific Island asset management?
In this webinar, Sharon Lesa and Priyani de Silva-Currie explore how the Samoa Water Authority has used structured asset management, strong governance, and capability building to deliver sustainable infrastructure outcomes in a resource-constrained environment.
Attendees will gain practical insights into strengthening stewardship, improving long-term planning, and building organisational resilience in the face of aging infrastructure, climate pressures, and budget constraints. The session will highlight how investing in people, processes, and community-focused leadership can support better value-for-money outcomes for councils and the communities they serve.
