What does this event cover
Senior leaders in local government face high-pressure demands, including navigating complex political environments, managing strained budgets, and fostering key stakeholder relationships, all while leading large directorates and teams.
This work is both rewarding and challenging but can lead to leaders feeling unsupported in their roles. This is where executive coaching becomes a game-changer – but how do you get the most from it?
Successful coaching isn’t just something that happens, it is an active partnership that takes effort. To truly make the most of working with an executive coach, senior leaders should focus on a few core principles:
- Driving and owning the agenda
- Creating a high-trust sounding board
- Protect time for reflection
- Turn insights into action
Delivered by seasoned coaches Jenny McDonald and Dave Tams, this session will equip you with the practical tools and frameworks needed to transform a standard coaching relationship into a power catalyst for ongoing professional development.
