The Council Toolkit is the one stop shop for anyone working in local government to check compliance, understand processes or receive the latest guidance on all areas of council business.

Resources in the Toolkit are created by Taituarā in conjunction with the relevant reference groups and outside experts including Simpson Grierson, BERL and the Department of Internal Affairs.

The Council Toolkit is funded through annual subscriptions paid by councils. It has been recently refreshed to create a more modern, intuitive, and user-friendly experience.
