Join us as we celebrate a decade of excellence at our 10th Gala Dinner and Excellence Awards.
To mark this milestone, we’ll showcase ten years of Supreme winners, as well as announcing the 2024 LGFA Taituarā Local Government Excellence Awards, the Emerging Leader of the Year award, the Overseas Manager Exchanges, and the winning team of the NZ leg of the Australasian Management Challenge.
Join us, and our MC Oscar Kightley, for this spectacular evening.

This year we encourage you to bring your team along to celebrate the successes of the sector, as well as your project entry, or a colleague that has been nominated for an award or exchange.
Individual tickets
- Taituarā Member - $220.00 + GST
- Non-Member - $260.00 + GST
Half Table - five tickets
- Council table of five - $1,050.00 + GST
- Corporate table of five - $1,400.00 + GST
Full Table - ten tickets
- Council table of ten - $1,950.00 + GST
- Corporate table of ten - $2,500.00 + GST
Please note: Due to the nature of this event, the cancellation of ticket registrations will not be accepted. However, tickets may be transferred, and we welcome replacement guests. In all cases, including non-attendance, the ticket registration fee will be payable in full, and no refunds given.

Oscar first recognised his ability to make people laugh when he was a school boy, and at Rutherford High he developed his skills in humour and English. Following a cadetship at The Auckland Star, Oscar moved into radio, theatre, television and film.
Oscar was appointed to the council of Creative New Zealand in 2007. In 2008, Oscar was awarded a Sir Peter Blake Trust Emerging Leader Award (so he’s well qualified to ‘preside over’ the 2018 Brookfields Emerging Leader of the Year Award). In 2009, he received The New Zealand Order of Merit for his services to television and theatre.
Oscar is perhaps best known for Sione's Wedding and bro'Town.
