About this event

Like other public agencies, local councils are faced with the growing prevalence of pseudo law – in part through the sovereign citizens movement but from elsewhere.  Dr Young will offer some research-based perspectives on the underpinnings of the world view and some insights for councils around interacting with those who advance such theories safety.

Who should attend? Professionals in rates, regulation, democracy services, engagement, or anyone likely to interact with pseudo-lawyers, sovereign citizens, or community sheriffs. Elected members are also encouraged to participate.

Registration Information:

The cost for this webinar is $325+GST per council.

Only one person from each council needs to complete the registration on the Taituarā website.

Before the event, we will send the Zoom link to the registered council representative. Feel free to share this link with others in your organization who are interested in attending the webinar (including remote participants).
