Our transition to a low emissions economy is at the forefront of many peoples minds right now. The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) and the Ministry for Social Development (MSD) are working on an Equitable Transitions Strategy to ensure a fair and inclusive transition to a low-emissions economy. Input from you and your community will help ensure everyone is supported as our economy changes.
Covering topics such as jobs, household costs, and supporting new industries, this is an opportunity to look at how your region will seize this critical transition to deliver on a wide range of socio-economic objectives.
MBIE is hosting a number of workshops around the country which you can sign up for here. If there is no workshop taking place near you, they invite you to email them in order to join an online workshop.
